Yes indeed. IMO there are two things that are pure junk on the K3, 
S-meter and the 12V DC power connectors. Too bad it can´t get fixed.

Also I don´t like that the VOX gain changes with mic gain level, IMO
they should be independent.

Like anything in life nothing is perfect.
