Agreed - MHO also.

I'm one of those. I use it to set my freq relative to the received signal,
or to set my speed to match the received station, or just to enjoy sending
to myself. And I don't want the rx to go on and off as I key. The noise
drives me crazy, as Mario noted some days ago.
The K3 does not follow the 'norm' of all other rigs I've used.

Yes, I have no problem with this.

But I definitely do not want any external equipment to be keyed when I
casually close my paddles while in rx mode.

Anybody know if Wayne is a CW op? Lets gang up on him.
