Of course, if it were possible to plug a keyboard into the K3's programming
jack it might be possible to use a keyboard instead of paddles and have a
Morse generator that does *everything* automatically.
I wonder how far away we are from rigs in which you speak into a microphone
and it transmits PSK, RTTY, CW or that "ancient" SSB modulation? And then,
instead of a scrolling row of characters across a display, a voice of our
choosing speaks whatever is being received in any of those modes.

I would like to second that request. I still use the CMOS Super Keyer 1
which came after the Accukeyer and it has ACS which I miss when using the K2
and (soon - maybe this weekend - 35% assembled so far) K3. Once you get used
to ACS, it is hard to do without it. The K1EL, NorCal, and PK4 keyers, and
others, have ACS.

(BTW - IMHO - the software implementation of ACS in the Logikeyers, direct
descendants of the CMOS Super Keyer, is not as good as the older,
hardware-only implementation).
