[Elecraft] KPA3 internal shield and KRX3 module

The KPA3 shield is a simple installation and offers no advantage when the
KPA3 is not installed. It's only functions are to provide a mechanical mount
for the KPA3 and to reduce the amount of RF energy floating around inside
the K3 enclosure when the KPA3 is in operation.

>From all the test data reported, Wayne's done a great job making these
options stand alone. For example, there's no reduction in KRX3 performance
by not having the KPA3 or its shield installed.

That said, it is important, as the manuals emphasize, to install and keep
tight all the screws in the case, including the stiffener bar that runs
across the top. That ensures the mechanical strength needed to make the K3
very robust, and it ensures good contact between the panels to avoid birdies
and other hard-to-trace effects or not properly shielding the circuits.

Hello,
just question - is internal additional shield linked only to KPA3
module or is delivered also with KRX3 second RX module?
If not is possible to add to the order of KRX3 by some way? Suppose K3 is
more robust with this shield installed. But not sure about this idea, please
change my mind :-)
