Daniel,
It is not common to find a bad capacitor, but indeed it does happen.
In situations where something like that is expected, I usually do a
sweep of the LPF to reveal the approximate filter cutoff frequency. A
bad component in the LPF will show up readily using that technique (but
you still have to figure out which component, usually by trial and error).
It is possible to sweep the K2 LPF with an antenna analyzer connected to
the BNC jack, but you must isolate the input of the LPF and connect a 51
ohm resistor (easy to do if the K160RX is installed, but requires
removing the W1 jumper if it is not.
