[Elecraft] DSP on SSB

I have the DSP unit on my #5957 K2. As you mention, it's excellent on
CW. I don't do much SSB, so there may be aspect/settings of the DSP with
that mode of which I am unaware. So, my comments should be read with that
in mind. For me, on SSB it's more of a hindrance than a help. It seems to
distort the sound to the point where searching for stations, especially in
a contest or a pileup is almost impossible. If I find a strong station in
the clear and then activate the DSP, I can fiddle with tunning and settings
so that I can understand the station, but even then it's only so-so. But,
obviously, that's not a typical situation. YMMV.
