[Elecraft] K3 Sherwood comments - harsh rx audio?

Hi,

If the Ducie and Clipperton island expeditions were used to judge the
transmit audio quality of the K3 (Ducie) and the Pro III, K3 would emerge as
a clear winner. TX5C audio varies from fair to poor, often muddled with no
highs at all. Once when they changed operator, the audio immediately went
from fair to poor, so I assume that they use their own boomsets. I wonder
how they are doing, the storms last night seemed to have unsettled them a
bit. I see them on the cluster on 80 and 40 this morning, so I guess they
are OK.
