I'll pop the lid and have a look. I don't think it would show nor if
it was mis-installed.
I haven't tried it before due to other issues. I have #501 and the
ATU doesn't function and there is an intermittent on the mixer board
that injects broadband noise, I think that little pot on the board is
intermittent. I contacted Elecraft last Monday and they said the new
boards were on the way. I found out today they haven't been shipped
yet due to a oversight. I can understand that. So, i thought I would
go ahead and see if I could get the other features adjusted, the rig
does work. Another gotcha it looks like.
I used an anti static wrist band and mat during construction. Having
build a couple K2's and a K1 with no problems I figured a modular K3
would be a snap.
