Good Evening,
Once again time has flown by; maybe that means I am getting something accomplished. Or not :) Propagation on 20 meters was poor. I worked Tom and then no one. By that time I had fallen to 229 to Tom. I heard him for a while but not one person he was working. Then even he was gone. NE5DL tried Tom but was not heard. I put him on my queue for later. Tom tried to hand it back to me but copy was so bad he did not hear my reply. I then went on and worked a few but only one was strong: NO8V.
On forty meters things were different. Signals were not loud but the band was more quiet. Pete worked me with his KX1 and was very good copy. Then Tom and John followed with good signals too. Next was Bob in Arkansas, he was very tough copy with me getting an odd letter here and there. Scott jumped out of the noise with reports of impending spring in Minnesota. I also heard of warming from Mike in Indiana. Maybe there is a trend here.

I am getting tired. A long day with work ahead. I had better get to bed. However, being tired implies I've made a few mistakes. Hopefully they will not be too egregious. As ever send the corrections to me via email and I'll fix things.
Spring is coming here too. It is in the valleys but not quite up here yet. Soon, I can see the familiar pattern of incessent rain pointed at the mouth of the Columbia River. Since it is not that far to my Northwest I'll be innundated soon. But the trees love it and things start growing after a nice flushing of rain.
Until next week stay well,
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
