[Elecraft] K3 Utility revision 1.1.3.6 ?

The K3UtilityVersionInfo.txt file was prematurely updated. If you go to the
Firmware page, check "Copy new files from Elecraft server into local folder"
and click "Check Versions now", the K3 Utility should copy the
k3UtilityVersionInfo.txt file with the proper "current version", 1.1.2.28,
into your local folder, and that message should go away. The "current
version" should be 1.1.2.28.

Interestingly, while I'm running 1.1.1.28, that program and, apparently
therefore the display on the K3, thinks "a newer K3 Utility Program
is available".

A minor glitch, probably brought about by the premature availability
of 1.1.3.6.

You can use any K3 Utility version from 1.0.12.7 forward to load the most
   recent firmware.

There are reliability improvements for some USB to Serial Adapter issues
and
a bug fix to save/restore config in the newer K3 Utility version, so we
are
encouraging people to move forward there as well.

1.1.3.6 was announced a bit too soon. The most recent public version of
the
K3 Utility is 1.1.2.28, the one you have. 1.1.3.6 is still in field test.
The new feature in 1.1.3.6 is a terminal tab for CW and RTTY, and it
hasn't
   received enough testing yet.
