[Elecraft] Is this comment necessary?

Gentlemen,

Please do not personally attack or directly criticize other list
members, or police the list. Period.

As list moderator I try to moderate with a very light hand, but I -will-
step in when an OT thread gets out of control or when the comments get
personal. But I am not an arbiter of one person against another. Please
remember that this is just a hobby and that we are all doing it for our
personal enjoyment.

Don't post anything you would not be comfortable saying in a polite
'face to face' meeting. (Emphasis on the 'face to face' part..)
Another good test is to ask yourself if you would be comfortable showing
or sending your proposed posting to your children, wife, boss etc. That
puts it in perspective eliminates 99% of your unnecessary replies.

If your blood pressure has risen and you are upset about a posting,
please apply the 'WOBR rule'. (Wait Overnight Before Replying... ;-)
Most emotional replies look less attractive to you in the morning. And
it is NEVER necessary for you to have the 'last word'.

The list guidelines specifically spell out what is acceptable to post.
The bottom line: We are here to enjoy ourselves. Be polite.

I'll resend the guidelines in a moment.

Elecraft List Moderator
