Michael in DL asserted - just for a test: declare the
6kHz filter (if installed) to be a 2.8 kHz filter (FLx
BW)

Michael - your K3 is living in un-truth. The lawyers
will find you and take your K3. Better hide it or
leave it with me for safe keeping. I will make sure
that nobody gets their hands on it but me. !!!

There are some other "tricks" I have noticed and
enjoyed, but I have been reluctant to mention them for
fear that the coders will close that door!

Note to Wayne, a front panel indication of the
condition (ie. out of band transmit) is enough, no
need to chop the output power. In my mind this goes
for most everything. ;-)

Hello,

just for a test: declare the 6kHz filter (if
installed) to be a 2.8 kHz filter (FLx BW) and then
set FLTX SB to that filter. Enjoy the great TX-sound !
