Clearly it has not been fixed.  However, it seems to be 
"stuck" such that the FSK input needs to be low ("closed") 
for Mark and open for Space which is compatible with most 
interfaces that have a transistor output driven from a UART 
(serial port).

I doubt that is the case - more likely that the default is 
right for most users.  If one has a RTTY device that is 
"upside down" for FSK, getting it right is a simple matter 
of selecting ALT to select the opposite (USB) sideband.
