[Elecraft] RJ-45 "Mystery" Connector (FP ACC)

Page 13 of the K3 Owner's Manual states that the FP ACC is " (RJ-45, 6 pins) located on the bottom on the bottom of the transceiver, near the VFO B knob.  It is used with accessory devices."  

I may have missed earlier discussions, but has there been any additional clarification on the current or future use of this connector?  Is there any information on the "pin out" of the 6 pins on the RJ-45?
