[Elecraft] Question about K3 utility for the Mac

I have had a couple of serious hangs on the K3 utility in the last  
couple days after not having used it in some time, they were in fact  
so bad it caused what appeared to be a kernel panic, I couldn't even  
force quit it, and when I went to restart the computer, it wouldn't  
force quit it then either!  I had to turn off the computer to get the  
K3 utility to quit.  This morning I trashed everything and downloaded  
the zip and reinstalled it, then opened it up and it said I needed to  
download a newer version.  So I went back in and downloaded from the  
same link what appeared to be the same version I've been using, (now  
v. 1.1.4.1) it now seems to be working ok again.  Has there been any  
changes to the Mac version of the K3 utility lately?  I'm using OS  
10.5.3, the latest and is it safe to assume it's compatible with OS  
10.5?
