You're thinking of the announced, but not yet available, KPA800 and KPA1500.
Type KPA800 into Google to find some info.

Development of the K3 has taken precedence over the amps. Whether they ever
will come into production after the K3 situation stabilises only Wayne or
Eric can say. I believe they were intended to be kits, but I read here
recently that one of the major issues beta testers found was a tendency for
the expensive PA transistors to behave as if they were fuses.
