After looking closely at the K3 I decided there are a lot of things I'd like to
see changed on the LCD:
1. I'd like for the filter width indicator to be where the VFO B frequency
readout is and shift the other indicators in that row to the left to make it
fit, because I prefer looking at it through my dominant eye which is my right
eye.
2. I'd like for CMP to have a label for 5 dB, because I don't like to have to
interpolate the distance between zero and ten.
3. I'd like for the S-Meter to have a maximum reading of 80.5 dB in .5 dB
steps, because I have a neighbor 2 miles away that tells me I should be able to
resolve his signal strength accurately. As it is I can only watch him peg the
meter when he is working DX.
4. Since I almost always work CW, I wonder if you could add a feature to disable
all the other modes so I won't be able to accidentally use them or have to step
through them. It would be nice if I could use the menu to select one of the
other modes if I really do want to use it. You could make the mode selectable
from the Config Menu by rotating the B VFO to the mode and selecting YES to make
it available from the MODE button.
I feel this is a reasonable request and it shouldn't take more than a few days
to do the necessary modifications.

meant upset or belittle anyone.
