In the UK anyone authorised with a notice of variation (NOV) to their 
licence can legally transmit CW on 60m.
Being able to turn off a whole band would be a useful idea though, that 
would speed up band selection for those without antennas for some bands, 
etc.

Isn't it ILLEGAL for any mode other than USB on 60? Other bands are legally
open to CW anywhere but I think NOT on 60. Somebody verify this.
