[Elecraft] K3: Low power in RTTY

I got in NAQP RTTY late for an hour or so last night. Only used 20, 40 &
80M and the power was 100 watts out the whole time - at least when I looked
at the wattmeter!
I did watch the PA Temp, after I heard the fans speed up, which made it into
the mid 40's C.
The only problem was the AF Gain was controlling the Line Out to the PC - a
problem with trying to record the contest with both RX and TX signals.
Every time I'd change the AF Gain I had to adjust the Line In level on the
PC! And with =PHONES turned off you can't record the TX side of the QSO.
Kind of a PITA.
Other than that the K3 using 500 Hz (both first IF crystal and second IF
DSP) was a real treat!
