Hi Tom,

I have not had a problem with mp3's and iTunes. As a matter of fact
all my music in iTunes is all MP3.

I have been doing something similar for about a year now.

I use the following CW MP3 collections and listen every night on my
iPhone when I go QRT.

N6TR's Sprint practice

K5ZD off the air contest audio

G4ZFE /9M2/3W

Personally I find the real off the air recordings to be much more
effective then computer generated practice.
Training your brain with real life sounds (QRN, QSB, QRM and LIDS) I
have found my code speed to skyrocket.

I hope this helps, it sure has for me.
