[Elecraft] K3 delivery require signature?

You're right..  It doesn't have anything to do with the operation of a 
K3 but it does have everything to do with receiving your K3 from 
Elecraft and if you will be required to be there to accept delivery of 
the package.  Some of us still work and don't have the luxury of being 
retired and home all day waiting for UPS to show up.  I see people 
posting stuff to this forum all the time that doesn't have anything to 
do with the operation of a K3 and nothing every gets said about that 
stuff.
