I think that might be hard to achive, because the K3 would have to know
whether you'd finished tuning or not. Knowing Elecraft, a mind reading
add-on is probably in the works.

Given that my new Heil desk mic doesn't have a locking PTT, I'd probably use
it for rag chew voice QSOs to avoid having to keep pressing the button down.
The only reason I haven't actually used it for that is that I don't use
phone that much.
