There is nothing better than listening to far away AM stations with a first rate radio hooked up to a Ham antenna...show your wife a comparison to the reception through K3/RV antenna and then with a regular AM radio with its puny built in antenna. If she's an avid baseball fan, you may never have to convince her that you "need" a new radio ever again...Hi.
Good luck RVing and to the Cards (Until they meet up with the Yankees in October, of course).
