The digital software does it's own signal processing. I don't have the KDSP2
in my K2. 

You can define a set of crystal filters for digital modes. I defined mine
around 1500 Hz. Software like PSK Deluxe and DM780  let you define a center
frequency (like 1500 Hz) and center the PSK signal with a mouse click. For
RTTY I use MMTTY with mark/space centered around 1500 (1435/1565).
