[Elecraft] Control board RF1 potentiometer agc

Hello guys ,
Finally got a little time + (courage ) to start my first kit-
Just started and I am enjoying it already.
K/2  #06152
Question is: does R1 get soldered to the top pad on control board ,or to the bottom pad, like everything else -so far?
