I agree with David on this.  While I think it is admirable to maintain a 
separate mailing list for K3 owners, I think it is highly possible for some 
folks to slip through the crack--at least temporarily.  All of us should be 
monitoring the reflector, and I think it is much more efficient to give just 
a short notice here.  If you want to do both, that's fine too.  Of course, 
we can also keep checking the firware section on the website, but that 
involves a lot of trips there with no results.  Besides, just because you 
don't have your K3 yet doesn't mean you aren't interesting in knowing what's 
happening with the firmware.  I would think the announcement, along with a 
brief description of its content, would be not only appropriate, but 
appreciated by most folks on the list.  If not, there is always the delete 
key.
