[Elecraft] e-mail list confusion

Thanks for all the comments. But I stand by my original post. The fact
is that most people are not putting the headers on the Subject line (I
didn't know what to use on this one). I have tried filtering for about
6 months. It does a poor job. There are posts the do not have the
radio in the body either. There is also no way to tell if there is a
post the is aimed at K2 users that mentione the K3 in the body (or
vice versa).
I like the idea of having a mandatory header. That would help. I will
keep trying to filter, but I can't see why a growing list like this
would not subdivide. What is the downside? Of course I respect
Elecraft's decision on the list format, and am just expressing my
opinion (as a very heavy user of e-mail lists).
What about my main question - would there be an objection to
"repliers" changing a thread name to include the proper header (if it
is obvious)?
