Anything that relies on people remembering to do something is never going to
work, because people aren't computers, and they just don't. The best
solution for those who are bugged by this would be to switch to a better
email client that has rules that work on the *body* of the message, not just
the subject. I know that Outlook Express can't do this, but perhaps a
Mozilla Thunderbird user will confirm if that can. I did this to filter out
non-K3 traffic when I used Gmail, and it worked very well.
Alternatively you can turn off the email altogether and use Nabble to browse
the postings that look interesting, as I now do. (I wish Nabble would
improve its threading algorithm, though.)
