[Elecraft] K3 For QRP QRSS

I plan to use my K3 10 Watt (when it arrives) for some QRP QRSS 3 or 10 at power levels of 1 watt or less for hours at a time.
Will the K3/10 unit handle the long periods of basically key down without external cooling?
