I like the Paddlette paddles for portable use with the K2. At home, I use
the Elecraft HexKey and a set of Brown Brothers BTL-A paddles. The
Paddlettes are similar in design to the Brown Brothers and have a solid feel
to them. The newer Paddlettes have stiffer arms than the old ones which is
a significant improvement. There is no vertical movement of the arms which
helps to keep the "solid" feel. I used the Palm only once and it felt a
touch spongy to me, but it may have been the way that that particular unit
was adjusted. Surprisingly, the K9LU Bulldog paddles feel pretty good too. I
did not like the Whiterook or MFJ portable paddles. I also have the Black
Widow and Scorpion paddles and use them on occasion, but prefer the others.
(IMHO, of course)
