Lyle is more or less an official source. He is the programmer of the  
K3's DSP code.

manual but were not ready for release at the time your K3 was shipped.

? FM mode; RPT OFS and SQ MAIN/SUB menu entries (pending availability  
of FM filter)

? Subreceiver controls (pending release of KRX3 option)

? Fine calibration of the high-stability TCXO option (alternative: use  
CONFIG:REF CAL method)

? Channel-hop scanning (alternatives: normal VFO A -> VFO B scanning;  
manual memory recall)

? ESSB transmit (ESSB receive is available)

? Audible feedback on switch press (alternative: audible feedback via  
remote-control software)

? CW-to-PSK31 transmit mode (PSK31 receive text decode is available)

? Transverter address mapping to BAND0-3 outputs (CONFIG:KIO3;  
alternative: KRC2)
