That makes ~600 production units in ~4 months (May-Aug).  150/month with
extended deliveries, no 3rd party reviews, no advertising, etc.  I'll bet
the order rate is now closer to 250/month or even higher.  I'm sure the K3
is making its presence felt in the order books of competitors, especially
now that "the word" is out.

Congratulations to the early adopters who quickly recognized what an
outstanding value the K3 is, but especially to Wayne and Eric for having the
audacity to set a new standard that the competition must now scramble to
match!  

BTW I had to laugh out loud when I saw a new IC-7700 owner tout its 7.2
pound tuning knob!  Gosh "he could've had a K3" for only 1 more pound!  ;-)
