[Elecraft] Elecraft SSB Net April 3, noisey but fun tonight

Cool! I also ride a recumbent but, not a trike. If you have never ridden
one, you should try it. In a way the recumbent is to the bike community the
way the K3 is to the ham community. It seems that it takes time for both to
catch on even though they are both superior in performance to the norm. I
still hear people discussing there favorite transciever with comments about
them being the best you can get without even a mention of the K3. Even with
the published test results and first hand reports, they still seem to ignore
it. Same with recumbents. They are faster, more aerodynamic, totally
comfortable and hold all the land speed records yet, many cyclist either
ignore them or wouldn't be caught dead on one. Why, because, they have never
tried one and they think they are for old farts with bad backs. I don't think
the K3 is just for contestors either. I'm hoping to buy one in the future
when the dust settles...that is if I don't buy a new recumbent before then ;-)
