[Elecraft] mic pin config for the k3 microphone(what Mic r the FT's using)

Sorry for the dumb question, but what configuration is the mic pin for the K3 , ie; Kenwood 8 pin? what microphones  are the field testers using? what do you all recommend to use, Elecraft is selling the Hand Mic, how does that preform?
