[Elecraft] K-2 headphone jack

One way to eliminate the problem (I have never had it) with the front panel headphone jack in the K-2 is to use the rear panel mounted external speaker jack, which is less convenient, but more reliable...While this will energize only one side of the headset, the jack is a standard 1/8" mono phone jack, easily replaceable...One could use a monaural headset, or install a stereo jack and wire it so that both sides of the headphones work...This will not work if the front panel jack has already failed...
