As it turns out - the 100W PA is hardly a significant difference in the
weight of the radio.  Unlike the K2 where the heatsink is pretty heavy.

This heatsink is much lighter and contained inside the radio.  Having
two fans blowing air on it make up the difference (and I never hear 
them).
