Both FedEx and USPS have worked well for me this year for material sent from
the States. If Elecraft uses these shippers and Lisa (Elecraft) gives you a
"Tracking number" you can follow the shipment on-line. The part of the
journey which takes most time in my experience is from the UK port of entry
to Scotland which is handled by Parcel Force, e.g. 3 days from the West
Coast USA to the UK, 5 working days from England to Scotland. Once the
shipment has cleared UK Customs and with the tracking number to hand, the
Parcel Force depot from which the shipment will be delivered to you can be
contacted by 'phone, and any chages owing can be paid by bank or credit
card. If the Parcel Force depot is not named, Parcel Force will send you a
letter containing this information and the depot's 'phone number.
