Banana plugs should fit into the top of the binding posts. Also on the
Pomona adapter they will fit into the two holes directly below the bases of
the binding posts in the black shank.
Pomona makes a VERY nice banana plug with a banana socket on the other end.
The cable for it goes thru a small spigot strain relief on the side of the
plug, and the wire is held with a common 8-32 set screw which is accessible
thru the back socket part of the plug with a small screwdriver. They are
VERY nice banana plugs and well suited to portable antenna use. You can
stack several plugs together easily for laying out radials etc.
The Pomona part number for that plug is #1825. They come in black and red
plus other colors. I just use the black and the red ones. Allied
Electronics, Newark and probably others have then in stock.

Subject: [Elecraft] Pomona Adapter Query
I have the recommended Pomona BNC-to-dual binding post adapter for use with
my KX1. It looks like some kind of wire termination might fit into the ends
of the binding posts. Has anybody got a recommendation for what kind of
wire termination would fit snugly into those openings? Banana plugs are too
large. It would be nice to have a plug-in option, in addition to crimping
bare wires.
