Lynn,

Wrong on both counts.  Use Spectrogram and align your particular filters
correctly for the particular crystal set you have installed.  The
numbers and setting in the manual(s) are a workable starting point so
you do not have the filters set to the wrong sideband - for that
purpose, you can use either chart as a starter.

If your filters are already set the way you like them, and all you are
doing is a dial calibration, just enter the CAL FIL menu, tap the BAND-
button.  Then look at the DAC value displayed for the selected filter -
change it one count up or down and then set it back the way it was -
continue until you have covered all the filters and you are done.  This
will force the K2 to write new BFO values into the EEPROM and will not
change your filter settings.  For purposes of the dial calibration, it
is the new EEPROM values that you are after, not necessarily an entire
set of filter settings.
