The option to pay a 50% deposit is still on the Elecraft order page.
Doubtless the offer to get one of the first 200 is now withdrawn, but
one wonders what the benefit of paying the deposit is, in that case.

Certainly when I ordered back in May, the mention of getting one of
the first 200 seemed to imply that those who didn't pay a deposit
would have to wait until later. Perhaps not that many did pay. I'm a
little put out by the revelation that rigs ordered with deposits are
not getting priority, especially as it looks now as if I'll have to
ask for shipping to be delayed until after Christmas to be sure of
being here when it is delivered.
