I have purchased in total 4 kits from Warren Gregoire for the last 5 years.
Two for myself (I have just worn out one in contests and expeditions) and
two for my friends. They are easy to assemble(although they sell ready made
headsets as well) and IMHO pretty good quality for the price. I never had
any headaches them. I currently use their head set with my K2 as well as
with IC765.

:
: I use the Elecraft version of the Heil Proset+ with my K2/100.
:
: I would stay away from the Warren Gregoire headset. When I was in the
: market about 10 years ago for my first headset I gave them a call. They
: were advertising the same headset as today but in "kit" form. I asked
: about the kit and was given a 5 minute litany about what I needed to buy
: to put it together and the possibility of my not having the "skills" to
: do it.
:
: I bought a set of Azden HS-03's which I still use on my TS-520.
