[Elecraft] K3 Panadapter / SoftRock

Question:

Is it really as simple as changing the crystal in the
SoftRock 40 from 7.038 to 8.215 to provide a band
scope for the K3? Seems too easy. I use the "Rocky"
program to manage the display.

Wondering if 8.215 would provide the 48khz segment
centered properly in the computer display window.

Also wondering what the best source of a single 8.215
crystal for this purpose would be?

Anyone else on the list having SR 40 and wanting to
make a group order for these?
