[Elecraft] Heil headset for K2 SSB question

Hello all...

I have a Heil Pro headset [boom and phones, etc] that I have had connected 
to my FT990 through the appropriate Heil adapter for Yaesu rigs. I'm now 
about to go SSB on my #5957 K2, and I would like to use this headset/mike. 
How to proceed? Does Heil make an adapter for the K2? If not, how to wire 
the mike connector on the K2? I imagine that I could wire it for a Yaesu 
mike and use the Heil adapter that I have. Any comments from those who have 
gone this way before will be appreciated.
