and wondering what would be the best tip to order for SMT work?

Deni the CSI Station-1A mentioned previously comes
with a fine conical tip. This will work fine for SMT and
I have used it for KD1JV's ATS-2, ATS-3 and the Softrock40.
I also ordered 1.6 mm and 3.2 mm chisel tips in my original
order. The 1.6 mm is perfect for thru-hole boards like the
K2 uses but I seldom use the 3.2 mm tip.

Incidentally my invoice from CSI describes the iron
as "CSI936 SOLDER STATION/CERAMIC" and the tips as "TIP
CSI936 SOLDER IRON" so indeed I belive this is an exact
clone of the Hakko 936.
