[Elecraft] Elecraft GC Receiver by chance?

Just curious: with mentions of other upcoming Elecraft products (e.g., 
power amps) in previous posts, is there a chance that Elecraft might 
release a General Coverage receiver "kit" someday?  I am wanting 
something comparable to the Palstar r30, Icom r-75, etc., but would 
much rather build an Elecraft version of such.  Wouldn't it be pretty 
easy to modify the K2's receiver for such a "gem"?
