The main thing to remember about any amplifier, is that it will amplify your IMD and other unwanted signals spurii and harmonics, just like the rest.

The K2 is IMHO a great QRP radio with a par excelence receiver. Beyond that, there is a law of diminishing return and no free lunches.  The good, the bad and the ugly, fact of life. Unfortunately!
