[Elecraft] headphones

Missed the original postings... 

My interests lie in contesting and DXing, so my
headphone preferences are influenced by these
activities.

Long hours in a contest for me mean light headphones.
The K2 has a lower audio drive versus some of the
other rigs that require much more power, so this is
important to keep in mind when you chose a set as
well.

I've found that earphones made for portable devices
like Sony Walkman's work the best. Earbuds are nice,
but pull out too easily. I don't like the airline type
that hang on your ear either. So something with an
over the head strap is best.

For me the best phones are Vertical in-the-ear
Headphones MDR-W14L (around U$13). They are 16 ohms
and low drive. The only thing I don't like about them
is that the cord is too bloody short!
