It used to use an ini file in the program directory to save settings. If 
you were logged on as a user that didn't have rights to change something 
in 'program files' then it couldn't save it's settings.

Much as I hated the idea, I changed it to use the Windows registry as 
Mr. Gates prefers.  Now it doesn't have to have write permission to its 
program directory.
