[Elecraft] Quality Ham Headphones?

Fred,

I have used the JRC ST-3 headphones for over 10 years now (from my SWL days)
and they are still the most comfortable (physical and audio) I have ever
used. The 600 ohm impedance is not a problem with my K1 or my Yaesu FT-920.

Can anyone suggest reasonably costing plain-vanilla

earphones for ham use? What 2007 headphones are

available out there - be it WMart, RShack, or Bose?

What quality, not WWII vintage, earphones are good

performers for K2, IC-706MKIIG, or IC-7000 type

ham rigs?

I'm not searching for Western Electric WWII

headphones.

I suspect there is one or 2 models out there, that

we can all afford. What impedance am I looking for?

Thanks,

Fred, FL
