There is a small, rectangular, black plastic jumper with 2 holes in it. You
slide that over the indicated pins of P7. It is the easiest of the jumpers
to place. Look for that little, black mystery part. There is a pic of it
in appendix A - page 4, next to the last item.

I need some clarification for the installation of a "shorting jumper" for
part P7 on the control board. the instructions are on page 17, right-hand
column, 3rd step down.
Do I solder a piece of wire btwn the two right hand pins of P7, and if so,
exactly where? During my attempt at installation, I damaged part P7, also
damaged part P5
with my soldering iron so I will have to order two new parts Monday. I am
concerned as to the state of the PCB board now because much of the plating
at P7 and P5
was removed/damaged. wonder how this will pan out during testing. any
suggestions are welcome. Dennis Vavra AD5LY
